Following an open nomination and election among all active IACS members, the 2025–2027 IACS Board has now been confirmed.

The election process began with a call for nominations (including self-nominations). Board members serve on a voluntary, unpaid basis, with responsibilities including promoting and advancing the Society’s academic activities—organising the summer school, conference, dissertation prize, and other events such as book launches.

Ten of the Board’s 14 members were elected directly by IACS members, with approximately one-third of all active members casting their votes. We thank all members who participated in the election and extend our warm welcome to the new Board as it begins its term.
